About three years ago I decided that I wanted to blog. I did not know much about blogging. (still don’t) lol. But I definitely enjoy writing. I always have.
I enjoy writing about almost any and everything — cars, poetry, ice cream. You name it!
With that said, I said to myself well why not start a blog? It sounded like a great idea and something I could see myself doing. However, that did not happen and I never did begin. BUT for “good” reasons:
who will listen?
what if they don’t like what I write?
or
maybe when I have more time. (that one still hasn’t happen, I’m eating my lunch as I write).
maybe when I get a new laptop. (I mean every blogger needs a fancy and sophisticated laptop right!?)
AND on and on I went… But like I said all “good” reasons right!?
Well, three years have gone and passed since that day I wanted to begin blogging. But, yet, still NO blog. Only more and more “good” excuses.
Opps! I mean reasons, not too.
Until just recently that is! Something suddenly came to me almost in a loud voice:
“THERE IS NO PERFECT TIME, THERE IS NO PERFECT PLACE AND NO FANCY DEVICE THAT YOU NEED!…YOU JUST HAVE TO START!”
That's it. That's all.
WoW! What a revelation that was for me. And in that very moment I knew I had to begin. NO more “good” reasons or excuses. It was now or never.
Well, I decided that today would be the day that I finally start blogging. Yayy! So, here I am. I just officially wrote my first blog. That feels good!!
No, that feels sooo good!!
Well, as I come to the end of this blog as well as this yummy turkey sandwich, I’m not exactly sure what will come out of all this? Or How often I will write? Or even if anyone will read.
But one thing I discovered and realized these last few days, is that, I never needed more time or needed some fancy laptop (that I did go out and purchase last year) lol. The one and only thing that I needed was just to START.
Whatever goal, dream, endeavor or idea(s) that you may have or thinking about. Whether that be a new hobby, learning a new language or skill, taking a class or blogging — I encourage you as I encourage myself…Just START!

Oh! by the way, that new fancy laptop that I purchased does just about all the same things that my old one does — lol go figure! But it was nice to treat myself anyway. 😊
